Job Description
What is the opportunity? You will support the Real Estate Middle Office (REMO) Managers in Construction Draws and File Intake processes. You will support the REMO team in delivering superior client service and maintain strong relationships to optimize the internal process, reduce response time and increase effectiveness. You will also consistently align to RBC’s Vision, and Canadian Banking Operations Strategy – the Simplicity Roadmap.
What will you do?
- Gather information required for REMO file intake once advised of a new project by accessing information from various host systems like Synergy, CMS, SharePoint, ECM and liase with team members for other pertinent information
- Build requisite tracker in SharePoint for each new project by comparing EOI, Approved T & C document and Approved synergy CCR and assist in building excel spreadsheets for monthly margined operating loan calculations for Low Rise Homebuilder lines
- Manage documents in SharePoint for ease of reference for REMO manager, and after REMO manager
- Liberate REMO Manager time via timely monthly project draw assistance and ongoing administration follow-up, including pro-actively verifying collateral security panel for any new out-of-order, ensuring binders are sent by lawyer to BSC in a timely fashion, follow-up on complex margin files, order relevant title searches and loan histories or other data as required
- Complete monthly Management Report, cross-check of SharePoint to EDW/REMO Indicator Reports, OSFI input, update SharePoint lists as new information is required to be tracked
- Format Regional Presentations & Reports, ensure documentation is complete and accurate prior to processing
- Manage Right-fax and REMO generic inbox to ensure all items are re-directed on the same day and exercise judgment in making decisions, with escalations to appropriate levels
- Be an integral part of the team to obtain/disseminate information,
Recognize opportunities for process improvements and take responsibility in ensuring change is embraced and reflects and enhanced client and employee experience
What you need to succeed
Must have
- Strong Administrative and organization skills
- Knowledge of bank systems
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Ability to multi-task efficiently during high volume periods
Nice to have
- Experience with RBC Commercial Banking
- Knowledge of RBC bank operations
- Experience with Synergy
