Elevate mental health awareness with Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools as a Full-Time Wellness Coach. You will deliver vital mental health programming for students, families, and staff.
In this collaborative role, you will create developmentally appropriate educational activities that foster mental health knowledge and skills among children and youth. By acting as a bridge to mental health experts, you’ll facilitate access to necessary services while engaging community members across a versatile workweek of up to 40 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and provide classroom lessons on mental health
• Partner with school staff and parents for community education
• Develop solid relationships with mental health services




• Lead community activities fostering healthy engagement
• Comply with HIA and AHS regulations in documentation
Requirements:
• Candidates must be registered with ACSW or CAP
• Experience in group settings with children and youth is required
• Relevant social sciences or education degree preferred
• Understanding of mental health and addiction issues
• Proficiency in public speaking and building relationships
