We are an established private mortgage company looking for an experienced Mortgage Broker Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in preparing and managing mortgage documentation, particularly for private mortgage transactions.

Note: It is fully onsite role in our office in North vancouver, BC. The office hours will be 8 am - 4 pm.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare mortgage commitment letters, disclosures, instructions, and related documentation
Review files to ensure all required documents and conditions are complete
Coordinate with mortgage brokers, borrowers, lawyers, appraisers, and other parties
Manage files from approval through funding
Track outstanding conditions and follow up to ensure timely closings
Maintain accurate and organized electronic mortgage files
Assist brokers with day-to-day administrative and transaction support




Work within our established mortgage processing pipeline

Qualifications
Previous mortgage brokerage, lending, or mortgage administration experience
Robust knowledge of mortgage documentation and closing requirements
Experience with private mortgages is strongly preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Robust written and verbal communication
Comfortable managing multiple active mortgage files and deadlines
Able to work independently in a quick-paced environment

We are looking for someone who understands mortgage transactions and can confidently take responsibility for the documentation and administrative side of a file from approval to funding.
