Role: Scrum Master

Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (4 Days/Week Onsite)

Pay: $70-$75/hr (CAD)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a leading banking organization and stand up a current Agile team from scratch. The ideal candidate will establish Agile ways of working, coach the team and Product Owner, and drive effective sprint delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and enable a new Scrum team from the ground up.
- Establish Agile processes, ceremonies, roles, and team working agreements.
- Coach teams and Product Owners on Scrum and Agile best practices.
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
- Support backlog prioritization, user stories, and sprint readiness.
- Remove impediments, manage dependencies,



and address delivery risks.
- Drive continuous improvement and team performance.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.

Must-Haves

- 8+ years of Scrum Master / Agile experience.
- Proven experience standing up new Agile/Scrum teams from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile, SDLC, backlog management, and user stories.
- Strong coaching, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Banking / Financial Services experience strongly preferred.
- Data, AI, or technology product experience is an asset.
