This full time position focuses on supporting the dental therapist under the Healthy Families Program. You will carry out comprehensive dental care for school children within the First Nations communities of the Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre. Relevant qualifications include a Technical/Applied Science Certificate and registration with the Saskatchewan Dental Assistant Association.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist dental therapist during school dental programs • Ensure compliance with professional practice standards • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Utilize Microsoft Office and relevant technology • Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements: • Registered with Saskatchewan Dental Assistant Association • Knowledge of First Nations health issues and culture • Proficient in Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Clear Dent • Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license • Successful criminal record check with the vulnerable sector
