We track odds across sportsbooks,



exchanges, and prediction markets in real time, calculating line movement, best available price, edge, and expected value. Our Go monorepo includes sportsbook scrapers, a Redis Streams and ClickHouse data pipeline, and the REST API powering pro.betstamp.com and our props screen. You'll help maintain and improve these systems as feeds change, markets move, and integrations break. AI is central to how we work. You'll be expected to use coding agents and other AI tools heavily for implementation, debugging, testing, and investigation — while reviewing their output carefully and remaining accountable for the result. Responsibilities

Ingestion pipelines: Reliability, coverage, and latency across 100+ scraper integrations — including fixes for feed changes, renamed markets, and blocking. Data pipeline and databases: Redis Streams, our market processor, Atlas migrations, and ClickHouse schemas. Query performance: Optimize PostgreSQL and ClickHouse for markets, fixtures, and line-history workloads. Monitoring: Prometheus and Grafana alerting that catches a degraded feed before a customer does. AI-enabled development: Use AI to move faster and automate repetitive data engineering work You'll begin with scrapers and gradually take ownership across the stack. Architecture decisions, production incidents, and irreversible changes will be handled alongside a senior engineer. Technical Stacks

Go 1.25 PostgreSQL 18, Atlas, and ClickHouse Redis/Dragonfly, Redis Streams, and RabbitMQ Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions Qualifications





Strong fundamentals in a backend language such as Go, Java, C#, Rust, C++, Kotlin, or server-side TypeScript Comfortable working with SQL and investigating query performance Some experience with Linux and containers Active, thoughtful use of AI coding tools, with the judgment to verify their work An interest in how AI can improve engineering workflows and products A habit of verifying assumptions and communicating clearly Based in Toronto or willing to relocate Go experience isn't required, but you should be able to become productive in it within a few weeks.
