BMW Toronto is actively seeking a 2nd- or 3rd-Year Apprentice Technician for a full time position. Job Function The responsibility of an Apprentice Technician is to assist licensed technicians in performing vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with all dealership and manufacturer standards, under the supervision of a licensed Technician. Specific Responsibilities Under the supervision of a licensed Technician, you will: Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles to accepted quality standards. Examine vehicles to determine whether additional safety or service work is required. Advise the Technician or Service Advisor immediately if additional work is required, if the work outlined is unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time frame. Communicate with the Service Team and Parts Department to obtain required parts. Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer. Ensure customers vehicles are returned clean.
