Drive stamping excellence at Toyota in Cambridge, Ontario, as a temporary Controls Engineer. This 12-month contract focuses on leading projects to meet safety, quality, and cost goals.
Join a project team at Toyota comprising controls engineers and technicians to ensure successful implementation of stamping equipment projects. Your role will involve research, developing current technologies, and training upcoming engineers on best practices. Help maintain high standards while also supporting global information sharing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement stamping equipment project enhancements
• Research and develop current production technologies
• Train recent engineers and co-op students




• Contribute to Toyota’s Kaizen initiatives for continuous improvement
• Document and report project outcomes using Microsoft365 applications
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; MBA preferred
• 5 years experience in manufacturing or stamping
• 5 years project management experience required
• Must be eligible for licensure as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Advanced skills in documentation and reporting
