The Assistant Manager supports store leadership every day. You help coordinate the team, maintain a high service standard, and keep operations running (schedules, daily priorities, task follow-up).

You are versatile: on the floor, supporting departments, and acting as a relay with the manager. As needed, you may also lend a hand in the departments, including cleaning and maintenance (cages, habitats, and animals). When the manager is away, you may take on some supervision responsibilities as practiced in the store.
Store experience (ideally pet retail or general retail) with responsibility.
Comfortable leading a small team and managing priorities.
Robust availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred qualifications
Experience as assistant manager, supervisor, or team lead.
Familiarity with the pet industry.
French/English bilingualism is an asset.
