About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and articulate Public Relations Specialist to manage communications and enhance their public image in Kimberley . This role is key to developing and implementing PR strategies that build brand reputation and engage stakeholders within the Arts & Entertainment sector. You will be responsible for crafting press releases, managing media relations, coordinating press events, and monitoring media coverage to ensure positive public perception. The ideal candidate possesses strong media savvy, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset to effectively promote our client's initiatives and achievements in a hybrid work setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute strategic public relations plans to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials to relevant media outlets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews and press conferences.




- Monitor media coverage and analyze PR campaign effectiveness.
- Develop crisis communication plans and manage sensitive situations as they arise.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the Arts & Entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of successful media relations and campaign management.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of media landscape and trends.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects in a hybrid environment.
