Position Title: Automotive Mechanic
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Summary

The Automotive Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light-duty vehicles to ensure secure and productive operation. This role supports company operations by maintaining service trucks, pickups, and passenger vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on light-duty vehicles
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and inspections
Repair or replace engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems
Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and recommend repairs
Maintain accurate service records and inspection reports




Follow safety standards and manufacturer repair procedures
Keep tools, shop, and work areas clean and organized
Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly with supervisors

Qualifications & Experience
Red Seal Automotive Service Technician (or equivalent) preferred
Minimum 1 year's experience as an automotive mechanic
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's licence
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Assets
Experience maintaining fleet vehicles
Class 3 licence
Experience working in industrial or remote environments

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$48.
