Reftek Systems is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Sensor R&D; Engineer to design, prototype and test analog electro-magnetic feedback seismic sensors. This role merges skills from numerous fields and requires a critical thinker with excellent problem solving skills. The successful candidate will work in our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office as part of a team focused on expanding our sensor offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
Electrical/Mechanical design of transducers to meet performance targets.
Design closed-loop feedback and signal circuits and printed circuit assemblies that meets product specifications
Perform FEM modeling, analyze trade-offs and correlate models and theory with experimental data.
Plan and execute prototype builds;
conduct characterization (frequency and magnitude response, self-noise, temperature effects) and document results.
Design calibration and test methods;
contribute to verification/validation.
Collaborate with production on fixturing, tolerances, and DFM. Support
