About the role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Director, Finance to lead and oversee our finance function and serve as a key partner to the CFO and senior leadership team. This role is responsible for the overall financial operations, reporting, controls, planning, and continuous improvement of the finance function , while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial information.

The Director, Finance will provide strong technical and operational finance leadership , translating financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations. This is an ideal role for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in a collaborative setting, is comfortable owning the finance function day-to-day , and takes pride in building scalable, reliable,



and efficient financial processes.

The role will work closely with the CFO and cross-functional leadership to support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial decision-making, and long-term organizational growth.

This is an active leadership role , with a preference for onsite work in Richmond Hill, ON , though remote candidates based in Canada may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership, Operations & Reporting
Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance function , ensuring financial processes, controls, and reporting are accurate, timely, and effective.
Own the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting .
Prepare and review management accounts, financial statements, variance analyses, and financial reports for the CFO and senior leadership.
Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts within Sage Intacct.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow management,
