Are you an experienced leisure travel qualified who enjoys designing memorable, personalized vacations?
Our client, a well-established and locally focused travel agency, is looking for a Senior Leisure Travel Consultant to join its Arnprior office. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves building client relationships and creating customized vacations, cruises, tours and complex itineraries.
What you’ll be doing:
Consulting with clients in person, by phone and online
Designing personalized itineraries based on clients’ interests and budgets
Booking flights, accommodations, cruises, tours and car rentals
Preparing quotes and managing reservations, changes and cancellations
Providing exceptional support before, during and after travel
Staying current on destinations, promotions and industry trends
Developing strong relationships with clients and travel suppliers
What we’re looking for:
Previous leisure travel experience within a travel agency or tour operator
Solid destination and travel-product knowledge
Experience creating customized itineraries and packaged vacations
Proficiency with a GDS and common reservation platforms
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Strong communication, organization and attention to detail
A travel or tourism diploma or certification is an asset
