At CAMH, the Program Assistant will be involved in assessing and supporting clients, emphasizing a client-centered approach. You'll be responsible for observing clients and accompanying them to off-site medical appointments as needed. This position includes flexible hours, with 12-hour shifts that may include nights and weekends at 1051 Queen Street West.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess designated clients and provide care
Maintain a safe environment to minimize agitation
Document observations and client responses
Escort clients for medical clearances and appointments

Requirements:
Completion of Secondary School diploma
Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare preferred
Personal Care Worker Certificate or enrollment in relevant study
Robust communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with mental health issues preferred
