Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatmentsPrepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directedPerform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic proceduresMaintain accurate medical records and document patient information thoroughlyMonitor anesthesia and recovery of animals post-surgeryProvide client education on animal health, nutrition,



and preventive careEnsure cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and work areasSupport kennel duties including feeding, bathing, and monitoring animals' health status
Skills
Proven laboratory experience with diagnostic testing proceduresStrong understanding of veterinary medical terminology and protocolsExcellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaborationAbility to handle animals gently and effectively in stressful situationsAttention to detail in recording medical information accuratelyAbility to work efficiently both independently and as part of a teamCompassionate attitude with a genuine interest in animal health and welfare
