The Permanent Lifeguard is responsible for supervision and leadership of casual aquatic staff and for the overall management of the Aquatics Facility when assigned. The lifeguard is also responsible for instructing and overseeing classes, lesson planning, arranging for student examinations and examining classes. Shifts may include day, evenings and weekends. The starting salary for this position is $47,844 per year. The City also offers a Group Benefit plan and a Defined Benefit Pension Plan.
