Join The Salvation Army as a Shift Lead, making a difference in client support operations. This role focuses on safety, supervision, and documentation in a agile setting.
As a Shift Lead, you will work closely with marginalized individuals at the Warming Center. Your robust sense of integrity and the ability to de-escalate situations will enhance the quality of care provided. Collaborate with staff while documenting key incidents to ensure safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents through engagement and supervision
Complete daily reports and incident documentation
Oversee shifts and communication among direct support workers
Address emergencies and provide crisis intervention
Attend team meetings to discuss operational updates
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year in a related residential role
Experience in Mental Health and Addictions preferred
Diploma in Social Services or equivalent required
CPR First Aid certification highly valued
Patience and problem-solving aptitude
