Become an Intervenor with Sensity in Waterdown, ON, to support individuals who are deafblind. This part time role promotes independence through communication and daily living assistance.
Sensity, a leader in providing Intervenor Services, seeks compassionate individuals to support those with dual sensory impairments. In this part-time position, you will facilitate communication and daily activities, enriching the lives of individuals while enhancing your professional skill set. Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate support within homes and community settings
• Utilize effective communication strategies for client interaction
• Aid clients with daily living activities, including hygiene




• Offer personal care and ensure client comfort
• Complete documentation and maintain accurate client records
Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in relevant human services disciplines
• Experience with developmental disabilities
• Skilled in ASL or SEE for communication
• Current Class G driver's license requirement
• Ability to lift and perform physical activities as needed
