**Job Title: Automatic Door Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Automatic Door Technician to join a leading commercial door and hardware contractor.

The role involves installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing automatic door systems in commercial buildings across Saskatchewan.

The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and can work independently in the field.
**Responsibilities**
Install and service automatic door operators and related hardware.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage issues.

Install and adjust operators, sensors, safety devices, and access control components.

Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.

Perform startup, testing, and commissioning of automatic door systems.

Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and site personnel.

Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.

Travel to project sites as required.
**Essential Skills**
2+ years of electrical experience.

Low voltage experience.

Ability to work out of town and willingness for overtime and weekend work.

Driver's license and clean abstract.

Proficiency with basic hand tools.

Experience with doors, installation, power tools, and electrical systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
AWP certification.

Fall PRO certification.
ADO experience.
6" steel toe work boots.
