Hull Services is seeking a Child and Youth Care Counsellor to join its Mountainside Program. You’ll work in an interdisciplinary team, implementing evidence-based treatment methodologies. Daily responsibilities include monitoring needs and promoting emotional well-being in a structured environment while engaging with families and the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to the physical and developmental needs of children
- Implement behavioral interventions and communication strategies
- Organize daily living activities as learning opportunities
- Plan recreational activities to foster social skills
- Advocate for children's rights and represent their interests Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care Counselling
- Experience in therapeutic or congregate care settings
- Transparent police checks and child intervention record
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
