Joining the Primary Care Education Coordination team, the Program Development Educator is tasked with applying adult education theories and methodologies to improve patient care. This part time position involves developing learning materials, assessing staff training needs, and leading educational sessions with a focus on Palliative Care Services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver training for healthcare professionals
• Lead initiatives that improve client-centered care
• Conduct needs assessments for program development
• Develop educational resources and protocols
• Mentor staff in best practices for client engagement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
• Minimum of three years in a clinical setting
• Proficient in clinical data analysis
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Must travel within Regina for community outreach
You will play a pivotal role in enhancing educational practices at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre.
