The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full‑cycle recruitment across all departments, ensuring timely, high‑quality hires in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. This role requires exceptional urgency, strong closing ability, and strategic thinking to support workforce planning and talent pipeline development.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Full‑Cycle Recruitment
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for hourly, salaried, and leadership roles.
- Manage high‑volume requisitions with urgency and accuracy.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and expectations.
- Strategize sourcing plans, including proactive talent pipelines for recurring roles.
- Screen candidates, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring manager interviews, and facilitate debriefs.
- Prepare and extend offers; negotiate when required.
- Ensure all recruitment activities align with Chudleigh’s standards, timelines, and approval processes.
Candidate Experience & Engagement
- Deliver a professional, timely, and engaging candidate experience.
- Maintain communication touchpoints throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Represent Chudleigh’s brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Recruitment Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, trackers, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, PI requirements, and job description approvals.
- Prepare interview guides, posting templates, and recruitment materials.
- Track recruitment metrics and provide weekly updates to P&C; leadership.
Strategic Workforce Support
- Partner with leaders to anticipate hiring needs and plan proactively.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve recruitment efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the P&C; department.
- Participate in intake meetings, workforce planning discussions, and recruitment strategy sessions.
Onboarding Support
- Coordinate with P&C; Team and hiring managers to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation.
- Ensure new hires have a seamless transition into the organization.
Other Duties
- Support P&C; projects as assigned.
- Participate in cross‑functional initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

MUST HAVE INGREDIENTS
Education & Experience
- Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of full‑cycle recruitment experience,
preferably in high‑volume environments.
- Experience recruiting in manufacturing, food, CPG, or similar industries is an asset.
- Strong understanding of Canadian employment legislation and recruitment best practices.
EXTRA FLAVOUR

LIFE AT THE BAKERY – WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands
This role is primarily performed in an office environment and requires regular use of a computer and other standard office equipment. The employee will frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to operate equipment, and communicate clearly. Regular lifting of objects up to 25lbs and occasional lifting of objects up to 50lbs may be required. Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Work Environment
The work environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level with minimal exposure to physical risk. The employee may occasionally be required to enter the production floor, where proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
