This role allows you to make a positive impact on the client experience and the management of sensitive files through your legal expertise, knowledge of fiduciary services and ability to provide tailored recommendations.
Your role Coordinate the legal activities related to each file to ensure proactive and thorough management while meeting established deadlines.
Analyze wills and other legal documents when opening files or throughout their administration, and provide recommendations to the Director of Fiduciary Services.
Oversee the progress and closure of the files under your responsibility, while regularly communicating updates to internal partners, clients and external specialists.
Act as an administrator for corporations associated with estate, trust and protection mandate files, in collaboration with specialists responsible for financial statements, resolutions and other corporate documents.
Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments related to estates, trusts and protection mandates.
Participate in client communications and meetings to provide the required legal explanations and contribute to a distinctive client experience.

Prerequisites Be a member of the Chambre des notaires du Qubec.
Have relevant experience in estate settlement, trust administration or the administration of protection mandates.
Have experience in an advisory role and in client service.
Demonstrate knowledge of wills, legal documents and the obligations applicable to the administration of property.
Have knowledge of investments, estate taxation or financial planning, an asset.
Languages: English, French Reason to require this language: you will need to serve clients who speak a language other than French regularly.
