Elevate mental health care in Haliburton as a Registered Practical Nurse on the Mobile Crisis Intervention Team. This full time temporary role focuses on direct client support during crises, offering vital assessments and connections to resources.

In this position, you will engage with the OPP Haliburton to provide critical crisis intervention services. You will assess individuals in distress, develop treatment plans, and work alongside police and health professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Your role will be integral to reducing repeat police calls and improving outcomes for those in crisis.

Key Responsibilities:



• Attend police calls involving mental health situations • Conduct immediate assessments and crisis interventions • Collaborate with hospitals and support teams • Manage client medication and treatment plans • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Requirements: • Current RPN certificate from College of Nurses of Ontario • At least three years of nursing experience • Knowledge of mental health legislation • Demonstrated crisis intervention skills • Must pass police record check and provide a valid driver's license
