POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experienced Dental Assistant Prefer candidate to have their NDAEB certificate Must be HARP certified LOCATION: near 403 & 3rd Line, Oakville HOURS: Mon 9:30-5:30 Wed 9:30-5:30 Fri 8:30-3:30 COMPENSATION: $30, possibly more depending on experience and performance JOB OVERVIEW: Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials Assisting dentist with surgery, root canals, crowns, bridges,veneers, implants invisalign, fillings,extractionsandmouthguards Placement and removal of rubber dams Taking x-rays of patients' teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays Using suction and swabs to keeppatients' mouths transparent and dry during procedures Taking preliminary impressions Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentist's reference Advising patients on dental care, oralhygiene and plaque control programs Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before,during and after dental treatment #J-18808-Ljbffr
