Job Title Teaching Assistant - Indigenous Governance and Business Management Program (Part-time, Casual)

The Dhillon School of Business invites applications for casual Teaching Assistants to support Indigenous Governance & Business Management ( IGBM ) 2500, “Introduction to Indigenous Governance and Business Management”, taken by many Dhillon undergraduate students to fulfill a program requirement to successfully complete an indigenous course.
Teaching assistants will be expected to carry out the following activities:
In the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms, the teaching assistant would attend class in-person Tuesday nights from approximately 6:00-7:45 PM, and then lead activities with the students from about 7:45-8:45 PM after each lecturer. Teaching Assistants would be hired for each term individually, and do not need to commit to availability for both terms.
We are looking for dedicated and inspired professionals, graduate students, or senior undergraduate students who will encourage students to strive for excellence not only in the classroom but in the way they apply their knowledge to their communities and careers. Pay rates for the position are $17.80 an hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation for senior undergraduate students; $33.63 an hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation for University of Lethbridge Graduate Students as per the ULGSA Collective Agreement; and $22 an hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation for individuals with an undergraduate degree.
In accordance with Section 10.1 of the Alberta Human Rights Act, selection for the position will give preference to Indigenous/Aboriginal People.
