We are looking for a Laptop Deployment Technician to support a large-scale device refresh initiative for a financial services setting in Toronto, Ontario.

This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a hands-on desktop support specialist who can prepare, deploy, and replace laptops efficiently while delivering a positive end-user experience.

The successful candidate will handle imaging, configuration, troubleshooting, and shipment coordination, while working with a high daily volume of devices across multiple branch locations.

Responsibilities: Prepare and configure incoming laptops for end users by completing imaging, setup, and quality checks before deployment.

Replace existing devices with newly provisioned laptops and ensure users receive the equipment and guidance needed for a smooth handoff.

Resolve Level 2 desktop support issues related to hardware, Office 365 applications, Outlook, Excel,



and general workstation performance.

Support device enrolment and management activities using Intune, Azure, and Active Directory tools.

Process a high volume of laptop deployments each day while maintaining accuracy, organization, and service standards.

Package and coordinate shipment of laptops to branch locations, ensuring devices are tracked and ready for distribution.

Create and provide checklists and other user-facing instructions to help employees complete returns and exchanges correctly.

Document incidents, service requests, and deployment updates in Service

Now to maintain clear support records.

Communicate clearly with end users and internal teams to troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and deliver strong customer service.
