For more information about the companies, visit; wellclinics.ca Position Summary: WELL Health Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Assistant (CA) to join our healthcare team.
The CA will work collaboratively with the physician to provide high-quality patient care, assist with clinical procedures,
and support the delivery of efficient medical services.
The ideal candidate is patient-focused, clinically competent, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.
What you will be doing: Conduct patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
Diagnose and manage common medical conditions under physician supervision
Treating both acute and chronic concerns in collaboration with the supervising physician
Develop and implement patient treatment plans
Prescribe medications in accordance with regulatory guidelines
Assist physician during procedures and surgeries
Providing wound care, freezing warts, performing PAP tests , immunizations, Mantoux tests
Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
Counselling patients about their health conditions, prevention, and healthy lifestyles, educate patients on screenings as per the provincial screening guidelines
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)Collaborate with the physician and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings You have: Eligible for licensure/registration in Ontario, Canada
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Previous experience in family medicine.
Experience using electronic medical record (EMR)
systems Requirements You must meet the following eligibility criteria: Satisfactory completion of an approved assessment; and one of the following: Be a graduate of an approved and accredited physician assistant or clinical assistant training program, that is restricted to a field of practice;Be a member in good standing of a regulated health profession in Ontario;Hold certification at the highest level of emergency medical attendant certification.
