About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and organized Sports Venue Operations Coordinator to support the management of athletic facilities in Kimberley. This role is key to ensuring that all venues are safe, clean, and ready for scheduled sporting events and community use. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to coordinate event logistics, manage facility schedules, and oversee essential maintenance tasks within the Leisure & Sports domain. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills, with a commitment to maintaining high standards for sports venues.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the scheduling and coordination of all events and activities held at the sports venues.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure they meet safety and cleanliness standards.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of venues for various sporting events and functions.
- Maintain inventory of operational supplies and equipment, and coordinate procurement as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for event organizers and user groups regarding venue logistics.




- Support the Operations Manager in developing and implementing operational procedures.

Requirements

- Associate's degree or relevant vocational training in sports management, facility operations, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in facility operations, event coordination, or a similar role.
- Basic understanding of sports venue operations and maintenance requirements.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by event schedules.
