About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure development and upgrade projects in Kimberley. This role is vital for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to network, hardware, and system infrastructure. You will collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business units to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all technical specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to manage complex infrastructure initiatives, contributing to the stability and growth of the company's IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, data center improvements, and system deployments.
- Develop detailed project plans, scope documentation, and resource allocation strategies.
- Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and manage vendor contracts and performance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.




- Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, security, and performance standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management.
- Proven experience managing projects related to network infrastructure, servers, and cloud environments.
- Robust understanding of ITIL principles and project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
