Randstad has partnered with a leading, dynamic organization looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their team, located in Oakville.

Title: Payroll Specialist Location: Oakville, ON (2 days onsite, hybrid) Rate of Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour Job Type: 6-Month Contract (with strong potential for permanent conversion) Do you have experience with multi-provincial Canadian payroll? Advantages Udemy - unlimited free access to Udemy online courses through Randstad Competitive hourly rate of $35-37/hr Flexible hybrid work schedule (2 days onsite in Oakville) Potential for permanent conversion after the 6-month contract Quick-tracked recruitment process with immediate start potential Opportunity to collaborate with a supportive and inclusive HR team Responsibilities Process full-cycle, multi-provincial Canadian semi-monthly payroll for approximately 500-600 team members using ADP Workforce Now.

Review, validate, and submit payroll comparison reports and funding wires for leadership approval.

Coordinate mid-month, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities, including T4/T2200 generation and general ledger reconciliations.

Process team member departures, final pay calculations, vacation payouts, and issue Records of Employment (ROEs).

Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of Canadian multi-provincial payroll processing experience.

Hands-on proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN).

High attention to detail with strong analytical skills, readily available to start on short notice.





Experience processing sales commission pay and T2200 forms is considered a strong asset.
