You will work 35 hours weekly, focused on fostering student well-being. Essential qualifications include a diploma in Child and Youth Work or Social Service Work, along with experience in education and behavioral strategies. Your role will include assessing mental health needs and collaborating on interventions that promote social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist families and students with mental health knowledge • Connect with community services and maintain relationships • Implement preventive mental health programs in schools • Screen students for needed support and resources • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
Requirements: • Diploma in Child and Youth Work or related field • Registered or eligible for registration in Ontario • Relevant training in behavioral intervention • Team-oriented approach with educators and partners • Must complete a Criminal Background Check
