We are looking for an experienced Controller to provide financial leadership for a dual-entity operation based in Mississauga and Vaughan, ON.

This Contract position will oversee consolidated reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and core accounting activities while supporting sound financial decision-making across both businesses.

The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in multi-entity financial management, compliance, and performance analysis, along with the ability to translate complex financial information into transparent business insights.

Work model: Onsite.

Contract role with immediate start, and may become long-term.

Responsibilities: Lead budgeting, financial planning, and expenditure oversight for two related business entities, ensuring alignment with operational goals.

Prepare and consolidate financial results across multiple entities and currencies using systems such as Quick

Books Online and other financial reporting tools.





Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical reports that provide timely visibility into financial performance at both the entity and consolidated levels.

Review monthly results against approved budgets, identify variances, and present recommendations to improve financial and operational outcomes.

Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, payroll coordination, and period-end close processes.

Produce accurate financial statements, forecasts, and forward-looking analyses to support leadership planning and decision-making.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and relevant Canadian regulatory and tax reporting requirements.

Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to support annual audits, statutory filings, and related financial reviews.

Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to promote consistency, accuracy, and financial integrity across both organizations.
