We are looking for a fast-thinking, organized Logistics Coordinator to join our dispatch operations team in Kitchener.

You''ll help coordinate a time-sensitive live-haul operation where good decisions matter to our drivers, customers, animal welfare and the food supply.

You''ll build schedules, assign drivers and equipment, manage communications, and quickly adapt when the day''s plan changes.

Schedule Full time: Operating out of our Kitchener office.

Shift Structure: Day shift, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday with option for consistent weekend overtime.

Pay & Perks Compensation: Starting wage of $26.80/hour, plus available overtime and an annual bonus.

Annual Performance Bonus: Discretionary performance bonus up to 2.5% in first year.

Culture: A dynamic team environment that lives by core values like ''Get it Done Right'' and ''Kick Ass, Have Fun.'' What Youll Do Daily Dispatch & Scheduling: Enter and verify customer schedules, assign drivers and equipment, and manage the Daily Load Board.

Communication & Support: Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, catchers, and processing plants.

Send ETA updates to customers and handle a busy dispatch email inbox.

Problem Solving: Manage real-time disruptions such as weather delays, equipment breakdowns, and schedule changes by adapting the lineup and coordinating with mobile repair or towing services.

Quality Control: Review and approve driver paperwork and load information for accurate payroll processing.

Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule preventative and running repairs,



and provide detailed end-of-shift handoff notes to keep all departments aligned.

What Youll Bring Detail-Oriented Operations Experience: 2+ years of experience in a role where attention to detail is critical, ideally coming from a background in dispatch, transportation planning, or high-urgency customer service.

Stress Tolerance & Adaptability: The ability to remain calm, solution-oriented, and adaptable when multiple high-urgency situations occur simultaneously (such as sudden weather delays or equipment breakdowns).

Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, maintaining a professional demeanor when juggling competing priorities with drivers, mechanics, customers, and internal teams .

Strong Technical Habits: Strong foundational computer skills (Gmail, Excel, routing software) combined with a natural desire to double-check your own work, ensuring high accuracy for payroll and compliance tracking.
