The Greenstone Mine commenced production in May 2024 and will be one of Canada''s largest open-pit gold mines, with annual production expected to average nearly 400,000 ounces of gold per year for an initial 14-year mine life with additional potential from a large underground deposit.

Greenstone Gold Mines LP is owned by Equinox Gold Corp, a Vancouver-based mining company with four operating mines in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Nicaragua.

Mine Surveyor Reporting to the Survey Supervisor, the Mine Surveyor is responsible for supporting technical services and mine operations through the layout and pickup of various mine designs such as drill patterns, dig areas & stockpiles, the planning and execution of drone flights, and other data collection and layout.

Key Responsibilities Rover GPS layout and pickup of various mine designs such as drill patterns, dig packets, misfires, tramp metal, exclusion zones, buried infrastructure, roads, and stockpiles.

Regular aerial drone surveys of the pit, mine roads, and stockpiles.

Verification of GPS calibration on mine equipment Settlement surveys of mine structures Inspections and surveys of drillholes and underground voids using cameras and laser scanners Data collection Blast guarding and filming Working at heights, from an elevated work platform, or using fall-arrest.

Film blasts using aerial drones or ground based cameras Survey data processing Related support tasks Required Experience and Skill Set Experience in surveying Proficiency with rover GPS, Total Station,



aerial drones and associated software Familiarity with hard-rock open-pit metal mining Strong commitment to safety Rigorous attention to detail Positive verbal and written communications skills Ability to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Power

Point, Word, Outlook) Knowledge of CAD and GIS software are an asset.

Willing to adapt and work in an inclusive work environment Job Conditions Work in Geraldton, Ontario, with the possibility of fly-in-fly-out 12h days on a 14:14 rotational work schedule About 15% office work and 85% field work Willing to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions in all seasons Certifications Valid drivers license Drone pilots license Education Mine Technologist degree, a related academic program, or sufficient relevant experience Greenstone Mine provides company transportation from multiple pick-up point locations.

The salary range for this position is from $100,966.00 to $123,403.10.
