Summary: The Family Support Worker provides outreach intervention services to families who are experiencing difficulties with parenting and who are potentially at risk of family breakdown. Qualifications: Minimal Human Service Worker Diploma with 5 years’ experience or A Bachelor of Social Work and two (2) years related experience. Knowledge and understanding of St’át’imc culture and ability to work with Aboriginal people. The ability to use tact and good judgment in dealing with sensitive and complex issues. Proven crisis intervention skills.
