**Job Title: General Production Worker**
**Job Description**
The General Production Worker supports warehouse and production operations by safely handling materials, completing shipping and receiving tasks, and maintaining a steady flow of products to and from production lines.

This role involves performing a variety of general labor duties in a fast-paced, hot, non-climate-controlled environment while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
**Responsibilities**
Perform general warehouse duties, including loading and unloading trucks, palletizing, staging, and moving materials throughout the facility.

Assist with shipping and receiving operations by verifying, documenting, and properly handling incoming and outgoing materials.

Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production lines and outbound shipments according to established procedures.

Support inventory control by assisting with cycle counts and stock replenishment to ensure accurate and adequate inventory levels.

Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Move materials to and from production lines to support continuous manufacturing flow and minimize production downtime.

Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and other tools, to safely transport products and materials as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping standards and reporting any hazards or issues to supervision.

Collaborate with team members and follow direction from supervisors to meet production and shipping schedules.

Adapt to changing priorities, tasks, and work locations within the warehouse and production areas as operational needs require.
**Essential Skills**
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments.

Ability to perform general labor tasks, including packing, material handling, assembly, and general production work.

Ability to lift 40 lbs or more on a regular basis and perform physically demanding tasks throughout a 12-hour shift.

Reliable transportation to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

Ability and willingness to work 12-hour continental shifts.

Ability to work safely and effectively in a hot, non-climate-controlled workplace.

Basic familiarity with material handling and warehouse processes, including loading, unloading, and palletizing.

Willingness to follow safety procedures, SOPs, and PPE requirements at all times.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Forklift experience is considered an asset and training may be provided on forklift operations for team members who demonstrate strong performance as general laborers.

Experience working in hot environments that are not climate controlled.

Experience working 12-hour continental shifts.

Comfort working in fast-paced manufacturing or logistics operations.

Willingness to work at different facilities within the same operation as required.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a warehouse and production environment that operates on 12-hour continental shifts.

Typical day shifts run from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with some locations also operating night shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and employees must be open to both where required.

Overtime shifts are frequently available.

The work takes place in a hot, non-climate-controlled facility, and employees must be comfortable working in elevated temperatures for extended periods.

New hires typically start at one warehouse facility for the first one to three weeks, and may later transition to another nearby facility as operational needs allow.

The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with regular use of material handling equipment and adherence to PPE and safety standards.

Dress expectations align with industrial and warehouse safety requirements, including appropriate footwear and protective gear as specified by site policies.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.60 - $18.60/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
