IMS Transaction Manager

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Contract Length: 4 Months

We at Raise are hiring a IMS Transaction Manager for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.

Responsibilities:

Robust expertise in IMS Transaction Manager (IMS TM)

Knowledge of IBM ETO (Extended Terminal Option) / ETO Support

Knowledge of BMC DELTA VT and existing DELTA-managed environments

Experience converting Program, Transaction, and Resource definitions from DELTA to IBM MODBLKS

Knowledge of Assembler to analyze and convert logic from existing IMS exits to ETO exits

Experience with IMS Operations Manager (OM), Structured Call Interface (SCI), and Resource Manager (RM)

IMS system migration, installation, and configuration experience

SMP/E software maintenance and product upgrade experience

Ability to perform migration planning, testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilization
