Lead the financial planning initiatives for Alberta's health services as an Executive Director in Edmonton. Manage extensive budgets and create strategies that uphold fiscal responsibility and transparency.

This full-time position within the Ministry of Primary and Preventative Health Services reports to the Assistant Deputy Minister of Finance. Your leadership will be crucial in directing financial strategies that support public health objectives and enhance service delivery. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop policies that address complex fiscal challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the financial strategy and oversight of large budgets
• Ensure alignment of fiscal plans with Corporate reporting requirements




• Influence stakeholder decision making through strategic insights
• Mentor a dynamic team of finance professionals in continuous improvement
• Maintain fiscal accountability across diverse projects

Requirements:
• Extensive experience in senior financial management
• Solid expertise in managing complex financial strategies
• Proven leadership ability in mentoring finance teams
• Master’s degree in Finance preferred
• Capacity to negotiate and influence critical outcomes
