Lead the Allied Health & Life Sciences programs at Conestoga College. This full time Chair position focuses on academic leadership and program development across various health disciplines.
The Chair will provide comprehensive leadership and direction, supervising faculty, support staff, and students in the evolving fields of life sciences and allied health. With a minimum of seven years of experience in higher education, this role involves budget management, innovative program delivery, and partnership engagement within the community. The objective is to ensure high-quality academic outcomes and financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership to faculty and staff
• Oversee program delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes
• Lead curriculum development and program reviews
• Manage operating budgets across the program portfolio
• Build partnerships with industry and community stakeholders
Requirements:
• Master’s degree with a health-related qualification
• Minimum seven years of progressive education experience
• Expertise in curriculum development and academic integrity
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation
