Support CAMH's Crisis Critical Care Treatment Unit 6 as a part-time Program Assistant. Focus on client care and contribute to a protected treatment environment.

In this pivotal role at CAMH, the Program Assistant will assist in the assessment and direct care of clients within a mental health setting. Responsibilities include managing client behaviors, documenting care, and accompanying clients to appointments off-site. Flexibility is essential as shifts will include weekdays and weekends, with a location at 1051 Queen Street West.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in the assessment and support of clients
• Ensure a safe setting and minimal agitation
• Communicate effectively regarding client observations




• Attend to client needs during off-site visits
• Foster teamwork and diversity in the workplace

Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Ideally 1 year in a healthcare-related position
• Personal Care Worker Certificate or related studies underway
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Experience with diverse populations an asset
