AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Engineer to oversee mechanical work on CANDU reactor components. This role requires extensive experience and excellent leadership in a hybrid work workplace.
In this position, you will perform and supervise engineering tasks related to reactor components with a focus on design and technical documentation. You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards while reviewing calculations and assessments. Your leadership will guide junior engineers and support the design verification process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee engineering activities related to reactor components
• Develop and modify design requirements and specifications
• Supervise the preparation of technical calculations and reports
• Conduct site visits for installation support and troubleshooting
• Lead engineering phases from conceptual to detailed design
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Ontario Professional Engineer license
• At least 10 years of relevant engineering experience
• Knowledge of nuclear ASME Code and CSA standards
• Strong organizational and time management skills
