At the University of British Columbia, the Senior Associate Director will develop and implement comprehensive fundraising programs with an annual goal of $5M+. You’ll collaborate with faculty and senior management to cultivate donor relationships while managing your own portfolio of major gift prospects. This key position requires strategic thinking and the ability to navigate complex relationships within UBC's community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement fundraising programs for major gifts
• Cultivate and solicit major gift prospects through personal interactions
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of donor prospects
• Mentor junior development staff in fundraising strategies
• Collaborate with university administrators on strategic initiatives
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 8 years in fundraising or advancement
• Proven success in major gift fundraising
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills
