The salary for this position is $58,000-$60,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group perks, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. The Stockroom Manager controls all activities of the central and ancillary stockrooms supporting terminal 1 airport lounges in daily inventory and operating needs. Including team engagement and enablement, task delegation, inventory control, quality control, adherence to all compliance areas and optimum customer service. The position involves planning, organizing, and exceptional attention to detail where all aspects of day-to-day stockroom functions. The position requires understanding of food service, hospitality and warehousing. It includes both physical and administrative work. Large scale complex environment.

Maintains positiverelationshipwithGeneralManager, culinaryteamand unit managersthrough dailycommunication.
Ensurestimelydelivery of inventory to airport lounges.
Maintains food safety and cleanliness.
Inspectsthe worksite daily and on an ongoing basis to ensure the delivery of services is consistent with the work specifications andrequiredQuality Assurance standards.
Regularlyreviewsassignments with associates tomaintainefficiency.
Successfully manages vendor relationships, ordering and delivery schedules, returns, complaints,
product and schedule changes, and emerging issues.
Responsible for thesafety in the stockroomsof all personnel andensuresthat equipment is in safe workingcondition.Ensuresall accidents and property damageisreported to General Manager andappropriate CGCSupport Services departments within proper deadlines.
Complieswithsecurityprotocol.
Regularlyattendsmeetings withmanagementteam,leadby the General Manager.
Identifyand resolve problems in the Stockroom.Documents all complaints andfollowsup to ensure there is a resolution.
Maintain thehigh standardsof customer service at all times
Responsible for executing and managing all functions of the stockrooms
Responsible for training,developingand motivating staff
Maintainsaccurateweekly inventory of alcohol and other food items asrequired
Ensures adherence to Compassand clientpolicies and procedures
Ensures adherence to Compass Food Safety and Physical Safety Policies and Procedures
Ensure thatappropriate qualitystandards and practices are in place
Foster excellent employee morale and customer service attitude
Adheres daily to Key Performance Indicators to ensure client expectations are continuously being met
Acts to provide solutions and resolve problems to ensure service is never compromised
Assistswith scheduling, payroll, Health & Safety, Logs asrequired(as per Manager Portfolio responsibilities)
Performs other assigned duties as needed or directed by theGeneralManager.
Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
Safety Responsibilities:
Set an example for associates to follow by incorporating safe work practices in all aspects of their activities and abiding by the Clients & Company’s safety policies and procedures.
Attend all required health & safety training
Reports and corrects any safety concerns andadvisesemployees of potential/unsafe conditions or hazards
Complies and enforces the H&S; regulations, the OHSA and company policies/procedures in a consistent manner.
Ensure/provide necessary training for employees on the hazards of their jobs using the Safe Work Practices and Task Hazard Assessments.
Ensure/provide training for the operation of equipment at their location.
Investigates incidents/injuries/near misses to determine root cause and implement any corrective actions – Reports injuries within 24-hours to the H&S; Risk Dept
Assistsinjured workers to the fullest extentto ensure participation in the early and safe return to work process as per our RTW policy
Assuring that safety devices and PPE are available and properlyutilized.
Reviews Inspection reports, JHSC minutes and provides corrective actions on any known deficiencies.
Conduct monthly safetyinspection.
Ensure safety meetings with all staff occuratminimumonce a month.
Oversight ofdepartment employees including relevant health and safety training.

Post-secondary degree/diploma in Hospitality,Food Service Management, Hotel and RestaurantManagement;or inventory management. Food safety certificationpreferred.
Foodservice management experience with branded concepts, and inventory management experience.
Excellent clientrelationshipand verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills witha strongattention to detail.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel,PowerPointand Outlook anddemonstrateworking knowledge of food service POS/IT systems.
Open availability asrequired.
Hours of work: We are a 24/7 business environment. Managers will be required to work the hours that will encompass the core hours for client and employee visits. Weekend and statutory holiday work are required.
