The Director of Indigenous Partnerships serves as a key leader in Hydro One's pursuit of meaningful relationships with First Nations. Reporting to the Vice President, this position is vital for ensuring that partnerships reflect the unique aspirations of Indigenous communities. You will provide strategic guidance for sustainable governance while advancing Hydro One's equity partnerships to deliver long-term value.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and nurture relationships with Indigenous leaders and organizations
• Lead governance and operational performance for partnership portfolios
• Advocate for Indigenous perspectives in decision-making forums
• Facilitate economic development through strategic investment opportunities
• Mentor a team dedicated to partnership excellence
Requirements:
• Education in Business, Economics, or related fields
• At least 10 years in partnership or project management
• Solid understanding of Indigenous economic principles
• Experience with governance committees and boards
• Proven leadership capabilities
