About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated and resilient Remote Victim Support Advocate to provide immediate and ongoing assistance to individuals who have experienced trauma or crime. Operating entirely remotely, you will offer a lifeline of support, guidance, and resources to victims across various geographic areas. This crucial role demands a high level of empathy, discretion, and an understanding of the complex needs of trauma survivors. You will empower victims by providing them with information, emotional support, and practical assistance to navigate their recovery and justice processes from the comfort of their own space.
Key Responsibilities Provide immediate emotional support and crisis intervention to victims of crime and trauma via phone, chat, and video conferencing.
Inform victims about their rights, available legal processes, and support services.
Assist victims in accessing resources such as counseling, medical attention, and financial aid.
Accompany victims (virtually or as needed) to court proceedings or police interviews.
Maintain confidential and accurate records of all interactions and services provided.




Advocate for the needs and rights of victims within the justice and support systems.
Requirements Previous experience in victim services, social work, counseling, or a related field.
Strong understanding of trauma, victimology, and crisis intervention techniques.
Excellent empathetic listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain composure and provide support in highly stressful situations.
Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and maintaining data security.
Demonstrated commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals with compassion and respect.
