Join Halifax Water's Engineering and Capital Infrastructure Department as a Project Engineer. You will manage a variety of capital projects related to the operation of wastewater and water treatment facilities. Your work will align with the Infrastructure Master Plans to protect public health and enhance service delivery for the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee capital projects in water and wastewater treatment
• Provide engineering expertise for facility infrastructure
• Collaborate with team members on project management tasks
• Ensure services meet public health and environmental standards
• Work closely with the Manager, Facilities Engineering
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation required
• Minimum five years of relevant engineering experience
• Background in water and wastewater treatment preferred
• Valid driver's license essential
