Lead the City’s HR department, driving initiatives in labour relations, organizational development, and employee engagement. This strategic role demands expertise in collective bargaining and compliance with legislation.
As the Director of HR, you will spearhead HR, OH&S;, and compensation programs while providing strategic guidance to the Executive Leadership Team. This senior position requires a deep understanding of workforce planning and employee relations to ensure alignment with City goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct collective bargaining and interpretation of agreements
• Implement HR strategies in line with City priorities
• Advise on workforce planning and organizational change
• Enforce consistent and compliant HR practices
• Manage budget and external HR service providers
Requirements:
• Degree in HR or related field required
• CPHR designation necessary
• At least 10 years of senior HR experience
• Solid background in labour relations and negotiation
• Excellent problem-solving and relationship-building skills
