Join Broader Horizons Adult Day Services in Nelson, BC, as both a Bus Driver and Adult Day Service Worker. This role is integral to supporting client-centered care.

In your part-time position, you'll be responsible for transporting clients safely while providing assistance with daily living activities. You will engage clients in life skills and recreational programs, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs. Your role includes maintaining equipment and monitoring participation while communicating any concerns to supervisors for timely interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure secure transportation for clients to and from activities
• Support recreational, life skills, and social programs




• Assist clients with daily needs including grooming and feeding
• Set up program areas and monitor participation
• Report any observed issues or changes in client status

Requirements:
• Strong skills in interpersonal communication
• Experience with client-centered care models
• Availability for rotating day shifts
• Skill in assisting with personal care tasks
• Willingness to participate in training programs
